We got to spend a few days at the lake, finally. The last few weeks have been upside down, and we've had no time to go. Summer is upon us, we've got to make time, somehow.
The lake was pretty much at full pool (299.85' ASL), water temp almost 80 (was at 79.something on Saturday eve), light breeze, and blue skies. Our martin house is full of birds raising babies. We caught blue catfish, spotted bass, and a pretty good white perch. I was able to wash the playpen on the pontoon boat while beached at Pink Hill, and repaired some of our Bullet reels while back at the houseboat. All in all, it was a great time!
