Green Hole, 11-24-17

Green Hole is a private farm pond we're fortunate enough to have access to, on the north side of Zebulon. We named it Green Hole, because it's pea green, year 'round. We mostly catch yellow bullhead catfish, Warmouth, and bluegill in there. Here's a few pics... 

Moccasin Creek @ Lunch

Brandon and I went over to the Moccasin Creek bridge on hwy 97, east of Zebulon, after lunch. We picked up a couple of large mouth bass. Brandon crawled up under the bridge and took a seat. Here's a few pics...

Murdock's, 11-18-17

We decided to head back to Murdock's today, and see what else we could find in there. Turned out pretty good for me, I caught a 2lb 13oz black crappie. I was using a micro rig, 4lb mono, and a beetle spin with a Strike King Smokey Shad grub on a 1/6oz red eye white jig head. Lots-O-Fun!

Zebulon Park, 11-17-17

Brandon and I went out to Zebulon Park on Little River at lunch today. We fished the basin a little, but headed up stream a bit. There's some really nice spots upstream, worth the walk!

Murdock's, 11-16-17

Debbie wanted to run out to Murdock's when I got off work, today. She was packed and ready to go, so I met her at the pond. Murdock's is a cool little private farm pond we are fortunate enough to have access to, an Murdock is seen in the last photo. He guards Debbie every time she goes, and it's one of the few fishing places she feels comfortable going to by herself...Murdock would be tough to tangle with!

Glory Road @ Lunch...

Brandon and I ran out to the old Glory Road bridge on Little River after lunch, today. I was throwing small swim baits, and this is what I caught, before heading back to the shop...

I popped over to the bridge on Fowler's Road, where it crosses Little River, a few minutes at lunchtime today. The river was down a bit, but I managed this guy...

Amos, 11-4-17

After playing at the Hidden pond, we headed over to Amos to fish a while. This is such a cool pond, and even has a new pier to boot. There's a little Jon boat in the boat house we were given access to, so we use than every now and then as well...

Hidden Pond, 11-4-17

We did a little pond hopping today...we first headed out to the Hidden pond for a while. I was fishing with beetle spins and a little top water, Debbie had her Crappie rig and red wigglers. As usual, she cleaned my clock with live bait. Here's a few pics...
