Zebulon Park, 2/4/19

Debbie and I stopped in to fish on Little River a bit today, just upstream of the Zebulon park. I was busy breaking fishing gear in snags, but Debbie proceeded to catch a couple of Large Mouth Bass on her micro setup. She was using a #0 gold beetle spin frame, 1/16oz white crappie jig head with a Strike King Smokey Shad Shadpole grub on 4lb mono. Works great!! Here's a couple of pics...

Hittin' the River 5, 1-2-19

Here we are, at the Zebulon hwy 97 park on Little River. Debbie caught something in the basin at this place last time we stopped in, and it ripped her micro rig up. She decided to use something a little heavier, so she grabbed her Zebco Bullet on a 6' rod, with 12lb test mono. The bait was still one of the beetle spin setups. Right away, she caught this bass.

This is a pretty cool place. Well, it was getting dark and cold, so we loaded up and headed home. Not a bad evening for bank fishing the local rivers.

Zebulon Park, 8-29-18

Brandon and I went over to the Zebulon Park on Little River after lunch, today. I was throwing a Whopper Plopper 90 through the broken dam spillway turbulence and was foul hooking all sorts of stuff...here's a few pics...

Zebulon Park, 11-17-17

Brandon and I went out to Zebulon Park on Little River at lunch today. We fished the basin a little, but headed up stream a bit. There's some really nice spots upstream, worth the walk!
