The nylon deck lines and spring lines had gotten in bad condition on both boats, and needed replacing. I usually replace them each spring, but neglected to do it this year. UV, sun, and the elements really wears these ropes out. We has a bad storm recently, then a windy week, and lines were beginning to fail. I ordered new spring lines on Amazon, and 3/8" dock lines from Walmart, and headed to the lake. Here's a few pics of the new lines...
