Tackle & Bait

Debbie and I enjoy trying new baits and tackle. We're still learning the personalities of the bodies of water we fish, and learning the various baits for different conditions. Here's pics and info about the various baits we use...

Spook and Buzz Plug...

Debbie uses these from time to time to augment her live baits, and they work!

Debbie set this up to stick in her pocket when we're bank fishing...

#0 Gold Beetle Spin frame, 1/16oz Red Eye White Jig head, and Creme Frisky Frog. Deadly!

#0 Gold Beetle Spin frame, 1/16oz Red Eye White Jig head, and Strike King Smokey Shad Shadpole

Rooster tails. Great bait, but snag everything on the bottom...keep it moving!

Rooster Tail variants, work great!

Gotta be ready to slap a new bait on...

Frogs for working through snags, on pads, etc...

#1 Silver Beetle Spin frame, 1/8oz Red Eye White head Jig, Chartreuse Whip Tail grub, great for Crappie!

Debbie's master pole fishing box...

Hard bait tray... suspended, chatter, rattle traps, top water, etc...

Smithwick Devil's Horse. Old School low speed top water...bass killer!

Great top water frog hard baits...top one jumps, lower one pops.

Whopper Plopper, 90mm. My favorite top water bait when the top water bite is on!

Dive bait...

Rattle trap...

Micro dive bait...

LunkerHunt Topwater frog, very realistic!

Z-man Chatter bait w/Zoom Fluke Trailer...

Bottom jig with a creature trailer...

Great frogs, especially the LunkerHunt Prop Frog on the bottom...

Z-man Chatterbaits with fluke trailers....

Ned rigs and baits... great for bass fishing when the bite is tough...

Whacky rig...

My favorite colors of Yum Stick Baits (like Senko), I jammed 3 colors in one bag...

Fluke rigged weightless and weedless, skin hooked...

Swim baits ready to go...

Skeet Reese hooks in my favorite shape for weedless setups on soft plastic baits...

Flukes...great when bass are on the bed, and all winter long...

Snap swivel...lots of purists won't touch them, but I love'm!! Makes for quick bait changes.
