Perry's Pond is a beautiful lake on the north side of Zebulon, on Pearces Road. It is a pay-to-fish location, and is over a mile long to the head. As you make your way up stream, there is more and more cover and structure to fish. The dam broke many years ago during a hurricane, and lost a lot of the fish. It seems to have recovered, and there are a moderate amount of Large Mouth Bass, Bluegill, and Crappie. There is bank fishing available, but I've never had much luck...as if the fish know to stay away from that area :-) Here's a few pics of a fishing trip out there, when we were on a shakedown run with the new Jon Boat...
