Debbie and I decided to take the Jon boat to a new spot (new to us) called Boddies Millpond. You can find it on Google. It's located in Nash County NC, has a nice ramp (no gas motors allowed), and is a beautiful spot. We caught several fish, and had a great time exploring. You can navigate about 2 miles up in the feeder / head in skinny water, fairly easily. Here's a few pics from the day & first trip...
