After leaving the Airfield pond, Deb and I headed over to Glory Road. If you check out Glory Road in the "Fishing Hole Catches" part of the RH menu, you'll see the continual deterioration of this spot since 2017. It was heavily damaged in 1996 during hurricane Fran, and the road was never reopened. In recent years, the bridge had given way and collapsed, but this is sometimes a good fishing spot. We're in a severe drought currently, so the water is low and flow is slow. 1 bite today, no catches here. To be fair, this location is usually mostly bluegill, and we were only bass fishing...
