Amos Place, 5/7/19

After hitting the Airfield, Debbie and I cruised over to Amos Place for a bit. The bluegill were wide open on Debbie's micro rig & beetle spin, as well as on my flyrod. Debbie also hit a few black crappie. What a great stop! Here's a few pics..

Airfield, 5/7/19

Debbie and I got up early this morning, and headed out to the Airfield to do a little fishing before breakfast. Wasn't much happening, but it was fun just the same. Debbie caught a bass on a 5" Yum Dinger worm, rigged weightless and weedless. She also caught a fat bluegill on her micro rig with a beetle spin. I caught a bluegill on the flyrod with a small floating bream fly. Here's a few pics...

Airfield, 5/5/19

Debbie and I headed over to the Airfield pond a while after dinner, tonight. We fished until a little past dark. Debbie was using a 5" Yum Dinger worm, rigged weightless and weedless. I was using a Zoom Craw Z in watermelon, also rigged weightless and weedless. Here's a few pics...

Airfield, 5/4/19

Debbie and I headed back to the Airfield pond today, just before the storm came through. Winds picked up, lightning, rain, etc. We fished until after dark, but when the lightning got close, we had to go! :-) We were both using 5" Yum Dinger worms, rigged weightless and weedless. The Airfield, 5/2/19

After leaving Glory Road, Debbie and I headed over to the airfield and fished there until after dark. We were both throwing 5" Yum Dinger worms, rigged weightless and weedless. The bite was pretty good, here's a few pics... 

Glory Road, 5/2/19

After leaving Fowler's Road, Debbie and I headed on down Little River to Glory Road. Debbie was still throwing her beetle spin from her micro rig, and caught some bluegill. I was casting 5"Yum Dinger worm, rigged weightless and weedless, got a good hit that got off, and that was it. We only fished there for about 20 minutes, and moved on. Here's some pics...

Fowler's Road, 5/2/19

Debbie and I went out to check on Little River at Fowler's Road, today. The river was down a bit, which usually means good bass catches in that area. Debbie caught some black crappie on a beetle spin with her micro rig. 

I caught a fat, large mouth bass that looked like she was still spawning. I had thrown top water in the spot I caught her in, with no luck. I pitched a 5"Yum Dinger worm, rigged weightless and weedless on the bank, pulled it through, and WHAM! There she was. Here's a few pics...
